Powys Outdoors
POWYS OUTDOORS is Powys County Councils Outdoor Education service delivering a wide range of high quality outdoor programmes and activities for the residents and visitors of the area.
We provide many different courses for our different clients - from programmes of personal and social development to just wanting to learn to sail or climb a mountain.
Our main users through the warmer months are Powys schools who come on either day or residential activity courses.
Through the rest of the year we are supporting youth groups, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, Alternative Education projects or just providing accommodation for groups looking to access the hills and forests that surround us.
We we pride ourselves in being an outdoor centre rather than a hotel. All guests, young and old, are expected to take on personal responsibility for their safety, the equipment, but also the environment and for the centre itself.
Our service strives to maintain a professional and friendly image. As a small team, we are able to offer a very personal, tailored experience where individuals can be developed and find adventure.
Keep upto date...
We are on Facebook and regularly post our courses, events, news and general chit chat for you to keep in touch.
