Groesffordd next to benefit from recycling changes

Residents in Groesffordd will soon be able to benefit from the new waste and recycling collections, with the scheme to begin in the village from 29 August.

Like elsewhere in the county, the new scheme comprises of weekly recycling collections and a fortnightly rubbish collection. Residents will receive containers for their paper and card, plastic and cans, glass and food waste, as well as a wheeled bin for non-recyclable waste.

The usual collection day of Wednesday will not be changed.

Deliveries of an introductory leaflet begin next week (w/c 16 July) which include a form for households to request a smaller version of the wheeled bin.

The containers will be delivered to households the week before the new collections start.
