Llandrindod Wells’ Lakeside Restaurant is operating a limited service after the facility’s boiler broke down at the weekend, Powys County Council has confirmed.
The restaurant remains open but can only offer a limited service by providing refreshments and cold snacks.
Cllr Garry Banks, Cabinet Member for Property, said: “We have taken the decision to remain open as we are aware how popular this facility is with the local community. Notices will be placed on site to inform the public of this very temporary situation.
“We are doing everything practically possible to replace the boiler and resume business as normal but it is too early to say when the boiler will be repaired. Until it is repaired, we will only be providing refreshments and cold snacks.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
