Llanspyddid will be the next village in the Brecon area to benefit from the new waste and recycling collections introduced by Powys County Council, which enables households to recycle much more of their waste at the kerbside.

The new service is proposed to start the week beginning 21 May and affected households and deliveries of an introductory leaflet providing details of the changes are being delivered this week (w/c 23 April). It also includes a form to request a smaller version of the wheeled bin.

Residents will receive the new containers a week before the new service begins, along with a comprehensive booklet and calendar explaining how the scheme will work in more detail.
