We recommend booking your session in advance to ensure availability. NB Computer sessions finish 15 minutes before library closing time.

Every library in Powys offers FREE WiFi access, using the Powys County Council WiFi service.
Simply visit the library counter to request a user ID and password.
If you are a library member, you will need to show your library card, and you will be given 6 months membership of the WiFi service (renewable).
If you are not a member of the library, you will have to show some basic ID, and you will be given 1 week guest access to the service.
Anyone aged 16 and over can use the computer or WiFi services, subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.
Children and young adults aged 15 and under who wish to use either the WiFi service or library computers can apply to join the Internet Club. You must be a member of the library (click here for information on joining the library), and your parent/guardian must come into the library with you to sign the Internet Club application form in front of a member of staff.
Most branch libraries also have special computers in the Childrens Area with access to a very limited number of websites for homework and games - you can use these computers without joining the Internet club. Click here for more information.
