Returning Items

Can I take borrowed items back to any library?

Yes, you can return your books to any library in Powys.

I want to keep my books out for longer - what do I do?

If you would like to keep your books out for longer, you may renew Powys books if another reader has not requested them. You can renew a book three times by telephone or on-line  (you will need to give the number on the back of your library card). After this the item has to be returned to the library for checking. You will not be able to extend the loan of any book more than 6 times in total. However, if your book was obtained specially for you from another library service, it can only be renewed by special arrangement, and an additional charge will be incurred. You should consult library staff.
