Powys CYPP » Priorities » Family Support & Childcare
The CYPP want to reduce the need for children and young people to be safeguarded or looked after by ensuring children, young people and their families have access to services which help to support positive family life.
"Support for young parents is important."
"Some people may not need the high extent of family support; however thay may need a chat."
"Having children at a young age shouldn't be the end of your opportunities."
The Incredible Years programmes are a set of complementary courses for parents, children and teachers which reduce aggression and behaviour problems in young children and increase social competence at home and at school. The project is based on the Webster Stratton Incredible Years Programme.
