Powys is very fortunate to have a valuable Sports Development Unit which plays an important role in increasing opportunities, raising standards and supporting the range of sport and physical activity programmes in our schools, clubs and youth organisations. As well as organising numerous competitions, tournaments and other sports activities throughout the year, the unit provides a range of services across the county.
Powys also has an excellent Youth Service which caters for 11-25 year olds who are looking for support, fun and organised activities. The Youth Service aims to offer young people access opportunities and experiences to broaden their personal development and support their transition into adulthood.
