What's Available?

Swimming	The centrepiece of the Flash is this superb leisure pool, with twisting 30 metre flume, rapids ride, spa pool, paddling and beach areas. A full programme of water based activities includes Aqua-Aerobics, Early Morning Swims, Canoeing, Swimming Lessons, Life Saving and Parent & Toddler Sessions, Disabled swim, Family sessions, Water mania, 50+ sessions and Lunchtime swims. Used regularly by local schools and swimming clubs, the leisure pool is also available for private hire parties and swimming galas Health Suite Our Health Suite links the Fitness Area to the Leisure Pool and features a sauna cabin, steam room and sun bed. Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian head massage and Reiki are available in the treatment room.
Health/Fitness	Xerzone Fitness Suite Equipped with state-of-the-art fitness stations, including bikes, treadmills, cross trainers, rowers, steppers, resistance equipment and free weights room which is equiped with a smith machine, preacher bench, incline and flat benches and a large variety of barbells and dumbells. Circuit training sessions are held weekly in these spacious and comfortable surroundings.
Parties	Waterside Restaurant. Children's birthday parties can be exclusively booked for Tumble Towers, the Leisure Pool, 5-a-Side and bouncy castle parties. Our parties prove very popular options for parents looking for something different. Our staff will take the hassel out of your childs party by supervising the football and leisure pool (under 8's policy applies), we will set up your table and even clear up after!! We have a choice of buffet options or a hot meal to suit all needs. Why not hire the facility for a CRAZY GOLF PARTY ! Tumble Towers soft play area for unders 8’s adds to the enjoyment of childrens parties. The Leisure Pool is also available for private hire parties. The Bouncy Castle is always a popular choice for the younger child and is available to hire on Saturdays and Sundays.
Dry/Instructed	The main hall within the centre provides ample space and a flexible area for aerobics, team sports, badminton, gymnastics and martial arts. The hall is also available for larger meetings, wedding receptions, concerts and exhibitions and can accomodate 400 people. It also plays host to antiques fairs, a bouncy castle for childrens parties and a series of indoor sports tournaments. Spinning Studio: Calorie killing at its best!! Group cycling with optional motivational projected 3D courses & instructor. The complete journey to calorie burning heaven. For all abilities, men and women. GIVE IT A GO - IT'S ADDICTIVE Bowls Hall: With it's four rinks in a professional setting, the Bowls Hall can cater for winter league matches, block bookings and casual bookings for people of all ages and abilities. Equipment can be hired at a small fee. Tumble Towers: Tumble Towers is an exciting adventure play area for children and toddlers aged 2-8 yrs. Scramble up the spiders web, battle with the knights and slide safely into the ball pool in the soft play medieval castle. Open daily for casual use, Tumble Towers adds to the enjoyment of childrens parties, holiday play schemes, creche and tiny tots activities.
Outdoors	Full Size Astro Turf Pitch Enjoy this fantastic new facility throughout the year & in all weathers! The artificial turf pitch has floodlights and can be used for: full sized hockey and football matches, or alternatively split it in half for two 5-a-side games. A 9 hole mini crazy golf facility. This fun, leisurely activity is now available for both children and adults.
Holiday/Play	Kidz Club The Flash Kidz Club are known for being a registered Childrens After School Club and Holiday club for ages 3 years +. We are inspected by the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales on an annual basis due to being registered and adhere to the correct children to adult ratios stipulated at all times. We have a team of very professionally qualified playscheme assistants and playscheme leaders who maintain high standards of Health and Safety at all times although allowing children to have FUN and PLAY to a varied programme for all ages and abilities.
Other	The Function Room is totally private and can seat 50 people theatre-style. With a full range of audio-visual equipment, this is the perfect choice for seminars and meetings. With catering facilities also available, it is also ideal for parties and social occasions.

Directions

Welshpool is within one hour of the M6 motorway via the M54 and can be reached easily from the North West via the A483, while the picturesque A49 serves the town from the South.
Regular rail services from Shrewsbury and Birmingham to the East provide an alternative means of transport to the area.
