LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION FOR WALES
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 - REVIEW OF ELECTORAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE COUNTY OF POWYS
The Local Government Boundary Commission for Wales are about to conduct a review of the electoral arrangements for the County of Powys. Among the matters the Commission will consider are the size of the Powys County Council and the number and boundaries of its electoral divisions based on the existing pattern of communities and community wards.
The Welsh Assembly Government has given Directions for the Commission's guidance in conducting the review. Copies of the Directions are available from the Commission's office at the address below.
Before they begin to formulate their draft proposals, the Commission invite any person or body having an interest in the review to send their initial comments in writing to -

Please note that the comments received may be published. If the respondent does not wish to publicly disclose their name and address this must be stated expressly in the response.

The Register of Electors is published on 1 December, after this time you can only apply to have your name added by completing a Voter Registration Form.
The Register is updated every month between December and August. The dates vary but if you return your form to us during the first half of a month your name will be added to the Register the following month.
