Bullying & Harassment
All schools should have a policy which sets out clearly what is considered as bullying and/or harassment, how pupils and parents should do if they suspect bullying is taking place and how the school should deal with reports of such incidents.
Welsh Assembly Government guidance suggests that schools should establish current, whole-school preventative and reactive anti-bullying policies through:
- Awareness raising and consultation with everyone in the school -Community – staff, students, parents and governors
- Implementation
- Monitoring
- Evaluation and revision
