Free Swimming For Welsh Residents
FREE swimming for over 60s is available during all public swimming sessions.
Knighton Sports Centre also provides a structured session weekly during term time where a qualified swim teacher is on hand to offer guidance on your swimming stroke.
Registration at Reception is required where you will be issued with a 60+ Free Swim Card. This card must be produced at Reception on each visit.
Free Swimming For Welsh Residents
FREE swimming is available during all school holidays for children under 17 years of age.
Knighton Sports Centre also provides a FREE structured activity daily Monday to Friday during school holidays. This could be canoeing, snorkelling, junior lifesaving or aqua-aerobics. Booking essential.

ATF -Access to Fitness
If you live in Powys and receive one of a range of benefits, an ATF card provides free access to Leisure.
An ATF card gives you free access to the fitness suite and swimming pool during public sessions. No concessions are available on bookable courses or court hire e.g. squash.
To be eligible for an ATF card you must be a resident in Powys and claim one of the following benefits:
- Long Term Incapacity Benefit
- Disability Living Allowance
- Severe Disablement Allowance
- Registered Disabled
- Job Seekers Allowance
