All about Rookie Lifeguard
The Rookie Lifeguard programme is the Junior award scheme of the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK). The RLSS UK Rookie Programme is great fun and has been designed specifically for 8-12 years olds. Children who have completed Stage 7 can also take part.
As a Rookie you will learn special Lifesaving skills to help you save yourself and know what to do if others get into difficulty in the water. You will also learn what to do if someone stops breathing.
The award contains survival, rescue and sport skills as well as life support and water safety elements so they are great fun to do.
Flash Leisure Centres Rookie Lifeguard Club which is part of the Starfish Swimming Scheme runs on Mondays, Tuesdays and thursday nights from 5 – 6pm
Inclusive of the course price each child will also receive :
Rookie Lifeguard T-Shirt, free swim pass badges & certificates !!!
