CONCESSIONARY BUS PASS HOTLISTING SCHEME
The Welsh Government will be introducing hot-listing for Welsh concessionary passes over the next few weeks.
From 14 April 2013 all ticket machines on local bus services in Wales will indicate if a Concessionary Travel Pass is not valid for travel.
To allow drivers and customers to become familiar with the process, an amnesty will be in place. Up to, and including 13 April 2013, as a Smartcard holder you will still be allowed to travel by bus for free, even if your pass has been cancelled.
During this time customers are being advised to check with their local authority if their pass is shown up as being hotlisted and to obtain a replacement if needed.

Heart of Wales Line
Powys Concessionary pass holders will be able to travel free on the Heart of Wales line from the 1st October 2012 until 31st March 2013.
Senior Railcards
Powys County Council no longer issue Senior Railcards as part of the Concessionary Travel Scheme.
