
1. Income Support; or
2. Job Seekers Allowance (Income Based); or
3. Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999; or
4. Guarantee element of State Pension Credit; or
5. Are entitled to Child Tax Credit but not Working Tax Credit, with an annual taxable income not exceeding the level set by the Treasury (for purposes of the Tax Credit Act 2002). PLEASE NOTE Those in receipt of Working Tax Credit do not qualify unless it is in the 4 week period following the loss of employment
A pupil must be in full time education to claim free meals.
Free school meals application forms are available from the Schools Service at County Hall in Llandrindod and from the Newtown and Brecon Area Offices.
