Bridge Maintenance

Powys County Council is responsible for the maintenance of bridges throughout the County, as well as retaining walls, and cattle grids.

The Network Management team are responsible for the assessment and record keeping of these structures and work with the Engineering and Building Services team on strengthening and major rebuilds.

The routine maintenance is delivered by the Shire offices, as is the management of weight limits on these structures.
