Action for Children are currently advertising for Community Support Workers who work together with families and practitioners to support children with disabilities to develop their full potential, participate in local activities and support development of personal, occupational and life skills.
Early Support Wales is the Welsh Government mechanism to improve services for disabled children and children with additional needs and their families.
Early Support has developed a range of resources and training that are aimed at bringing service providers together to work in partnership with the family to ensure the child and family's requirements are met. The aim is to put parents at the centre of the planning process. The development of the Early Support resources and the training began in England and they have been updated and improved where necessary and adapted to fit the Welsh context.
Powys FIS are required to update the data we hold on Childminders every three months and on all providers every six months. Whilst we will send you a letter and blank form you may need more copies if you have more than one provision within your Registered Organisation. You can find a PDF copy of the form below.
