Scrutiny
This section supports the new role of scrutiny, and in particular the Principal Scrutiny Committee. In addition to the Committee Clerks, dedicated officer research and administrative support for the scrutiny function is provided. Scrutiny support ranges from individual scrutiny of Board decisions, overseeing the complaints system, monitoring service delivery, policy review, to consideration of full scale reviews of an aspect of the Council’s work or services.
