The centre piece of the Flash is this superb leisure pool, with twisting 30 metre flume, rapids ride, spa pool, paddling and beach areas.

A full programme of water based activities includes Aqua-Aerobics, Early Morning Swims, Canoeing, Swimming Lessons, Life Saving and Parent & Toddler Sessions, Disabled swim, Family sessions, Water mania, 50+ sessions and  Lunchtime swims. 

Used regularly by local schools and swimming clubs, the leisure pool is also available for private hire parties and swimming galas.

The pool runs at a constant temperature of 30-31 degrees which is ideal for toddlers and small babies.

Changing facilities consist of male and female changing rooms and two family disabled changing rooms.

The Galley Restaurant has a wide and varied menu to satisfy you and your family. Light hot and cold snacks, sandwiches, main meals and childrens meals are available freshly prepared throughout the day, 7 days a week.  We also have a full range of hot drinks, serving cappuccinos, lattes etc to fruit teas.

We have a childrens eating area complete with various toys, tables, seats and games to keep the kids amused.  Allowing them to sit and eat in an area suitable for their needs where you can keep a close eye on them.

Children's birthday parties can be exclusively booked for Tumble Towers, the Leisure Pool, 5-a-Side and Bouncy castle parties. Our parties prove very popular options for parents looking for something different. Our staff will take the stress out of your childs party by supervising the football and leisure pool (under 8's policy applies), We will set up your table and even clear up after!! We have a choice of buffet options or a hot meal to suit all needs.

Tumble Towers is an exciting adventure play area for children and toddlers aged 2-8 yrs. Scramble up the spiders web, battle with the knights and slide safely into the ball pool in the soft play medieval castle.

Open daily for casual use, Tumble Towers also adds to the enjoyment of childrens parties.

Equipped with state-of-the-art fitness stations, including bikes, treadmills, cross trainers, rowers, steppers,  resistance equipment and free weights room which is equiped with a smith machine, preacher bench, incline and flat benches and a large variety of barbells and dumbells.

In order to use this facility all users must of had a fitness suite induction.  This can be booked at reception and will then provide you with an induction card in order to gain access to the fitness suite.  If you have already received an induction from another Centre then you will be able to access the Fitness Suite at the Centre  as long as proof of a valid induction can be seen.

The fitness suite also holds a Youth Exercise programme which caters for children aged 9 - 15 year olds carrying out a fitness suite session with a fully qualified SHOKK Instructor during term time. 

Circuit training sessions are held weekly in these spacious and comfortable surroundings.

Enjoy this fantastic new facility throughout the year & in all weathers!  The artificial turf pitch has floodlights and can be used for: full sized hockey and football matches, 1/3rds for training sessions, mini matches and also Tennis in the summer. Alternatively split it in half for two 5-a-side games.

The main hall within the centre provides ample space and a flexible area for aerobics, team sports, badminton, gymnastics and martial arts.

The hall is also available for larger meetings, wedding receptions, concerts and exhibitions and can accomodate 400 people. It also plays host to antiques fairs, a bouncy castle for childrens parties and a series of indoor sports tournaments.

The Function Room is totally private and can seat 50 people theatre-style. With a full range of audio-visual equipment, this is the perfect choice for seminars and meetings. 

Catering facilities are also available, it is also ideal for parties and social occasions, as well as ideal for parties and social occasions.             

With it's four rinks in a professional setting, the Bowls Hall can cater for winter league matches, block bookings and casual bookings for people of all ages and abilities. Equipment can be hired at a small fee.

Our Health Suite links the Fitness Area to the Leisure Pool and features a sauna cabin and steam room.

Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian head massage and Reiki are available in the treatment room throughout the year.
