Newtown Textile Museum

5-7 Commercial Street, Newtown, Powys, SY16 2BL

The museum is housed in an early 19th century weaving shop and focuses on the history of the woollen industry in Newtown from 1790 to the beginning of the 20th century.

The museum is currently closed to the public,  
although it is open all year for pre-arranged group visits.
