Powys got a taste of Olympic fever in May when Machynlleth, Llanymynech and Welshpool were lit up by the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay as it made its way through the county.
Around 20,000 residents and schoolchildren packed the streets, waved flags and cheered noisily as they waited to catch a once in a lifetime glimpse of the historic Olympic Flame, as it made its way through Powys en route to the Olympic Stadium in London for the Opening Ceremony.
Below are a selection of images from the three events in Powys, which took place between the 28 - 30 May.
