Pay your Rent
Paying online
The Authority's Online Payments section allows you to make an online payment for a number of our services using your debit or credit card.
All payment transactions are processed in real-time by the National Westminster Bank using their secure card payment system. Your card details will not be stored by the Council and at no time will they be visible, or accessible outside of the secure banking network.
Currently you may pay amounts owing against the following services:-
- Housing rents
- Garage rents
- Recharges
- Former tenants
Paying by Direct Debit
Why you should pay your rent by direct debit:
- It’s simple - All you have to do is complete the mandate form and return it to us. We’ll do the rest for you.
- It’s convenient and worry-free
- Your rent will be paid on the 6th or 21st of the month whichever is the most convenient for you. We will inform your bank of any changes in the amount you pay.
How do you keep track of your rent account?
We will send you a statement of you rent account 4 times a year for you to keep track of your payments. You can also request a statement at any time at your local area office.
