We will write to you informing you whether you are eligible and if so the total number of points you have been awarded. Our policy statement provides full details of the Points Scheme and an abbreviated version can be found overleaf.

Every 6 months we will write to you to check that you still require housing and that your circumstances have not changed.

Receiving an offer

Once registered you will be considered for properties in accordance with your age, disabilities, family size and the preferences you have indicated on your application form. Your local area office will be able to advise you regarding the availability of suitable properties.

When a suitable property becomes available you may receive an expression of interest letter. Expression of Interest Letters for each empty property are normally sent to the top 5 pointed applicants. Each applicant is given 5 days to indicate whether they would be interested in accepting the tenancy. A Final Offer Letter is then sent to the top pointed applicant expressing an interest.
