Please note the following:

  • Services may be reduced or cancelled on Public Holidays and timetables are also subject to change at short notice. Please always check, with the operator, fares and times of journeys before making your final travel arrangements.
  • Buses in Powys operate on a hail and ride basis and will stop anywhere outside of a town to pick up or set down passengers. Please take normal road safety precautions and only hail a bus where there is a safe place for it to stop.
  • Complaints as to any irregularity in services, or civility on the part of the driver, should be reported in writing to the operator with a copy to the County Council.

Powys County Council cares about your mobility and welcomes suggestions or criticisms which may help to improve the planning and operation of bus and rail services.

Bus Fares in Powys

Bus fares in Powys will rise from Wednesday 2nd January 2013.

Powys County Council have tried to keep fare increases to a minimum but are continuing to experience increases in operators costs, alongside reductions in budgets, which unfortunately will have to be reflected in your fares.

Powys Rover Ticket

This may be the perfect time to take full advantage of the Powys Rover Ticket that is available and costs just £8.00 adult and £4.00 child.  You simply buy the ticket on the first bus you travel on, and use it to go as you please throughout the day.

Remember that the Powys Rover Ticket allows unlimited travel on participating services on the day of issue, which means that you can break your journey whenever and wherever you like.

Multi-Trip Tickets – 10 journeys for the price of 7*

If you are a regular bus user, did you know you can buy discounted tickets for your regular journey?  Ask your driver for details of discounts that apply to your route.
