Leisure Centres and Community Sports Centres
With a total of seventeen centres in the county, a wide range of activities and facilities are available, including sports halls, swimming pools, indoor bowling, squash courts, fitness suites etc...
Outdoor Pursuit Centres
The service operates two outdoor activity centres. One is located within the county at Staylittle near Llanidloes and the other is located near Fairbourne in Gwynedd. The centres mainly serve educational groups from within Powys but also provide for other users.
Outdoor Recreation
The service is responsible for a large number of outdoor facilities across the county, including outdoor sports facilities, children’s playgrounds, parks, commons and other open spaces.
