A two day course to increase Managers/Supervisors understanding and confidence re supporting their staff in assessing and working with children and young people who have sexually harmful behaviours.

To provide information from research and practice about why children and young people may have sexually harmful behaviours

Key Learning Outcomes

  • To introduce the AIM2 model for Adolescents and the AIM Model for Children under 12 years old
  • To consider the management issues re assessments and interventions with children and young people and their families
  • To consider the management issues re the impact of this work on their staff
  • To provide techniques and a framework for reflective supervision and for supporting staff in managing resistance and denial

There is no charge to attend these courses, however a cancellation charge may apply to non-attendance if sufficient notice is not given
