Aim

For staff in a range of early years and education settings to recognise and respond appropriately to possible developmental issues for disabled children.

Have a clear understanding of the principles of Early Support and the information and support available to families and practitioners

Feel more confident about how to recognise and respond to concerns about a child’s development

Key Learning Outcomes

Understand the principles of working inclusively with disabled children and those with additional needs

Understand the importance of working in partnership with families with disabled children and those with additional needs

Understand how the Powys Integrated Disability Service promotes partnership working between a range of agencies and professionals to support provision for disabled children and those with additional needs

There is no charge to attend these courses, however a cancellation charge may apply to non-attendance if sufficient notice is not given
