The Powys Unitary Development Plan (UDP) was adopted in March 2010 and is available below. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The UDP sets out the principles for development in Powys until 2016. It provides a basis for making decisions on planning applications and where certain types of development should or should not be allowed. It also sets out the county’s need for land for housing, employment and other infrastructure. The Written Statement is a single document and includes 'bookmarks' for ease of navigation.
The Proposals and Inset Maps Documents have been split into smaller files to make them easier to download.
Inset Map Numbers 1 – 38 are for Brecknockshire (outside the Brecon Beacons National Park), 39 – 96 are for Radnorshire and 97– 208 are for Montgomeryshire.
The Settlement Inset Maps Index provides the reference for each settlement.
Please note that Inset Maps Bm35 Bryn Henllys and M200 White Grit have been removed from the Unitary Development Plan.
