If you are unhappy with the Council it is important to us that we hear from you as soon as possible. Our aim is to solve problems as quickly and effectively as possible. Complaints are usually best dealt with immediately.
Our Procedure for complaints
Give us the chance to put things right, tell us all the details so we can liase with the service managers to find a resolution. If it is not possible to resolve the matter immediately it will be acknowledged within 5 working days. The service will aim to provide a full response to you within 20 working days from receipt of your complaint.
If you are not happy with the outcome offered in stage 1 we will ensure it is considered by a head of service or the Corporate Complaints Officer. You will then receive a response within 20 working days.
