The play area at New Radnor is a grassed, level open site with wide reaching views of the surrounding countryside. It can be approached via the village, either by road or on foot and has adequate parking facilities adjacent to the junior school, which is located opposite. It has good access for the disabled visitor although not all items of play are suitable for their use.
The play area includes; a junior climbing frame; a climbing frame for use by children up to 14 years of age; toddler’s swings; a slide and spinning bowl. The site also boasts a unique living arched walkway that is constructed out of willow and also has a multi use games area, which can be used for tennis, football, basketball and cricket.
