You Said

The policy is easy to understand overall.

Some parts were a bit confusing e.g. the financial statement

I can’t see that anything is missing from the policy.

The policy seems fair and I can’t see that you are discriminating against anyone by reviewing and updating the policy

We Will

Adopt the policy

Re-word the parts that were confusing for tenants who responded

Be aware of any forthcoming legislation that requires us to add anything else into the policy

Ensure the policy doesn’t discriminate against any of our tenants

Purpose of the survey

The policy states what role tenants have to play in helping the council achieve necessary repairs and explains what type of work can be involved in bringing homes up to this standard.

The policy also sets out how the council runs its annual maintenance programme and what information it keeps on record about each property.

The purpose of this survey is to find out if tenants or prospective tenants or interested parties understand the policy and if not what it is that is unclear or confusing so we can amend it.
