The Town and Country Planning (Local Development Plan) (Wales) Regulations 2005 (As Amended) Notice of Public Consultation on the Schedule of Proposed Further Focussed Changes POWYS LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2011 - 2026
Powys County Council has considered all representations received in relation to the public consultation on the proposed Focussed Changes January 2016. Following submission of the LDP to the Welsh Government and the Planning Inspectorate in January 2016 and the subsequent Exploratory Meeting with the Inspector, the Council is proposing Further Focussed Changes. These Further Focussed Changes have been submitted to the Inspector for examination and are outlined in the “Schedule of Further Focussed Changes October2016”.
The Further Focussed Changes are subject to a formal 6 week public consultation between Monday 10th October and 5.30 pm Monday 21st November 2016.
The proposed Schedule of Further Focussed Changes and supporting Assessments/Appraisals are available for public inspection and a form for making representations is available, Monday – Friday, from the Council’s main offices below:

They are also available online here and at all local libraries.
Representations at this stage should specify the matters and grounds to which they relate and must only relate to the Further Focussed Changes. Representations should not propose further changes to the Deposit LDP 2015 and the Schedule of Focussed Changes January 2016; any such representations will be disregarded as they should have been made during the earlier stages of the Plan preparation.
Duly made representations will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate for consideration by the Inspector appointed to examine the soundness of the Plan.Completed Representation forms should be returned to:

Only those making representations seeking to change the Deposit LDP (i.e. objectors) whose representations (i.e. objections) were “duly made” (i.e. in accordance with earlier notices), have the right to appear before and be heard by the Inspector at the Examination (Section 64 (6) of the 2004 Act).
Notice will be given at least 6 weeks before the opening of the Examination’s Hearings. The format and timings of the Hearings will be a matter for the Inspector. An independent Programme Officer, Tracey Smith, has been appointed who is responsible to the Inspector and will assist withthe administration of the Examination.
