Powys Well-being Plan

A Well-being Plan for Powys has been drafted and we’d like your views on it.

The plan sets out 15 well-being steps that the Public Service Board want to focus on to improve your well-being as residents of Powys.

On this page you will find:

Your feedback at this stage will help to shape a final plan which will be published in April 2018.

Please Click on each poster below for details on each well-being step and have your say by midnight on Sunday 11 February 2018.

Please note:  Copies of the posters will be available in all libraries shortly with a paper survey if you prefer to respond in this way.

Have your say

  • What do you think of the ideas listed?
  • What ideas would you like to put forward for this step?
  • To what degree would the ideas listed make a difference to your well-being?

Out in your community

Engagement practitioners from all the Public Service Board organisations will be running drop in sessions in libraries and supermarkets across the county over the 12 week consultation period, meeting community groups and young people too to try and ensure a wide range of views are sought and received.

If you run a community group and would like us to come and engage with you on one or two of the well-being steps please email us with dates and details and we’ll do our best to get out to you during the 12 weeks.

Watch out for information in your local press, posters in your community and social media posts.

Launch event for the 12 week consultation

We launched our 12 week consultation with a Have Your Say Day conference for young people across Powys.

Around 100 pupils from some primary and high schools attended the day and took part in workshops focused on some of the well-being steps.  From apprenticeships to mental health young people gave their views on what mattes to them and how they want their future to look.
