We own property which we use to provide facilities and deliver services to you. We keep Ordnance Survey maps showing the boundaries of all the land we own, as well as details of all acquisitions and disposals together with leases, lettings, licences and easements.
We’re responsible for managing a wide range of properties across the county. These include schools, council offices, farm estates, leisure centres and libraries. We also have a substantial portfolio of property, land and sites to suit many business and individual needs.
Property is a valuable resource and the way we use and manage our assets is central to our ability to provide services effectively.
The Asset Register holds all Powys County Council property ownership records. If you wish to know whether we own a particular piece of land, please use the contact information provided.
Where land does not belong to the Council, the Land Registry may be able to assist.
