Council tax rates in Powys will increase by 3.9 per cent in the coming financial year, the county council has agreed. Meeting Llandrindod Wells the council approved a cabinet recommendation of a 3.9 per cent increase in council tax along with a budget saving package that will reduce the council’s spend by £9.6m.
